Matt Clemens is a Managing Director and Principal of WAVERLY PARTNERS and is based in the firm's Cleveland office.

He has more than 20 years of executive search, recruiting and operational experience. Matt's executive search assignments span mid-management to senior executive levels for:

• Finance

Matt has worked with clients in instrumentation, automation and controls, smart grid, power generation, transmission and distribution, consumer and industrial manufacturing, energy consulting and information technology.

Prior to joining WAVERLY PARTNERS, Matt was a Director at Christian & Timbers, one of the nation's top technology executive search firms, and Stratford Group, a top 20 executive search firm. Earlier, he served as Director for the Professional Recruiting division of Spherion Corporation, a Fortune 500 human resources consulting company. Matt began his career in a series of sales and operations management assignments with General Electric and Roadway Express Corporation.

Matt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Villanova University and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Cleveland State University.
