NAN H. HERRON

Nan Herron is a Managing Director & Principal in Waverly Partners' office in Charleston, South Carolina and has over nineteen years of executive search consulting experience. She has completed search assignments in most executive functions including general management, marketing, sales and business development, human resources, finance and information technology.

Nan's industry experience is equally as broad, with clients ranging from Fortune 200 service and manufacturing firms to entrepreneurial growth companies, from nonprofit organizations to family-owned businesses. She has served diverse clients including Eaton Corporation, American Express, Rubbermaid, Invacare, Limited Brands, OfficeMax, Avery Dennison, Culligan International, the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, the Cuyahoga County Public Library System, Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce and The South Carolina Aquarium.

Before joining Waverly Partners, Nan was a Director with StratfordGroup, and earlier spent nine years in her own executive search practice.

In this entrepreneurial venture, Nan created her own search boutique, providing executive search consulting, benchmarking, and research services to corporate clients, venture capital firms, nonprofit organizations as well as other executive search firms. Nan began her search career at Korn/Ferry International, where she served as Director of Research, providing intellectual capital and business development support to Korn/Ferry's partners and senior consultants, before moving into a search consultant role.

Nan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Hillsdale College. She is a member of the Human Resource Planning Society and has been an active community volunteer throughout her career.
