Herb Scales is a Managing Director of WAVERLY PARTNERS in the firm's Louisville, Kentucky, office. Herb's perspective on executive search is based on his general management background with more than 25 years of profit and loss assignments in both profitable and turnaround companies. This experience enables him to be effective and objective when evaluating leadership, general management and technical business skills.
Herb has successfully completed mid- and senior-level as well as President and CEO searches across most functions in many industries including manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, consumer/industrial durables and technology. His clients include:

Prior to joining WAVERLY PARTNERS, Herb was the Executive Vice President of Sales for Iomega Corporation, a $2.5 billion removable data storage company. Serving at the officer level for the last 10 years, he has held senior executive sales, marketing and general management assignments with multinational companies such as General Electric, Whirlpool and Philips. In addition to his extensive sales, marketing and general management experience, Herb has personally led efforts in strategy development, planning, new organizational structure, talent/skill assessment, metrics and execution.
Herb holds a Bachelor's degree from Georgia Tech and a Master's degree from Webster University.
