Eric N. Peterson is a Managing Director & Principal of WAVERLY PARTNERS, based in Cleveland.
He has 20 years of executive search consulting experience with a successful track record of recruiting top and senior
executives in the areas of finance, executive management, operations, sales and marketing and human resources.
His nationwide clients include hospitals and healthcare systems, chambers of commerce and business associations, health
and human service and cultural arts nonprofit organizations. Eric is frequently called upon to consult with and advise the
Boards of Directors of his nonprofit, hospital and chamber clients on the selection of CEO/Executive Director candidates.
Eric's diverse clients have included the Animal Protective League, Cleveland Clinic Health System, Detroit Regional Chamber,
Goodwill Industries, Medical University of Ohio, Michigan Economic Development Corporation, Robinson Memorial Hospital and
Wichita Area Chamber.
Eric previously served as Vice President & Managing Director of StratfordGroup, and earlier was Manager of Executive
Search Consulting at Ernst & Young. He began his career in financial services with recruiting and employment management
responsibilities at AmeriTrust Company N.A. in Cleveland as well as training and development and branch office management
experience at Star Bank in Cincinnati.
Eric earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Denison University and his Master of Business Administration degree in
Finance from Xavier University. He is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce Executives, the American College of
Healthcare Executives and other professional groups. Eric has been a frequent guest speaker at industry and university
gatherings and his book Career Building for the Chamber Professional: the Definitive Guide to Moving Up in the Chamber
World was published by the American Chamber of Commerce Executives in 2005. |
